Heavy rain had closed the Cobb Highway between Ivanhoe and Wilcannia, a situation we didn't become aware of until we arrived at Ivanhoe, so plans for the long weekend were adjusted accordingly.
We birded around Ivanhoe instead of further north and a family of Spotted Bowerbirds was one of the highlights we found in the scrub bordering the town.
